My Studio is located in NW Calgary and is a bright and open space in which to explore and learn. I teach classical piano to all levels of student, from beginner to Diploma level, and I offer lessons in person and on-line. I believe in the importance of a very positive personal connection between student and teacher, and in striving for the right balance between the imparting of knowledge, encouragement, and enjoyment. I have taught hundreds of students over 30 years, and many have achieved formal successes - in competitions, applying to prestigious music schools, in ABRSM and RCM examinations, and in local and Provincial Festivals. There are also many who have gone on to study other disciplines but have formed a lasting connection with music, which will hopefully continue to enrich their lives and give them an outlet for self-expression for many years to come.
